Good Sunday

Hey all.. it is Sunday..

And today, we're having an inter department badminton tournament for Cubic. The last one for me i guess. Well, i dont actually play badminton, but every year i will go and support the players. My friends. And this year, my bet is on Hakimi and Mark for men doubles. This time the tournament is at MAKSAK hall, Batu Berendam.


Well, this is Kimi. Bajet bagus gelak-gelak tengok orang lain main. You know who are in the list of players. This year a lot of people turn up. Including Bakri, world paralympic champion and gold medallist for paralympic SEA Games in Manila. We have a world class badminton player in Cubic. Gila bangga.


Patut la gelak-gelak tadi. Rupanya dia memang boleh main. This is a picture of Kimi and Asnor in men doubles final. Kimi partnered Mark Leong (my ex-boss) while Asnor partnered Bakri (the world champion). Gambar ni diambil beberapa ketika sebelum Kimi kena kekejangan otot. A bad one i guess sebab sampai tak boleh bangun. And at last the officials suruh stop the game and Bakri and Asnor clinched the top spot.


Apalah apek ni.. main sampai cramp kaki. Try again next year. Tu pun kalau tak kejang lagi lah ye.. *hehhe* Kesian mamat ni sampai sakit-sakit kaki main badminton. At least it was a good show. A really good game especially during the semi finals. To all winners.. Congratulations..

The event ended at 4.30 p.m. So i headed back home. Nak basuh kereta. Dah lama tak bela kereta tu. Kesian dia. Lepas basuh kereta lepak-lepak in front of the telly to watch Thundercats. Jangan tak tau, Thundercats are now on telly. Sunday, 6.00 p.m TV2. Promo siap.


After maghrib prayers, Auntie Tim, Mas, Bobby and Ellen came to our house for din din. Auntie Tim brought some nice udang for us. Cun kan udang. Tangkap sendiri punya. Mama just goreng kunyit and the result is wonderful. I just ate one. Takut lak esok tak boleh bangun. Tapi serius udangnya memang besar. And fleshy and fresh and scrumptious. Good udang to end a good Sunday.

T.G.I.F

At last.. Akhirnya berakhir jugak satu minggu yang penuh dengan kebosanan. I dont want to look like i am counting the days to leave CESB. But i can't help it. My workload has been reduced to almost 90% from what i used to do. Memang rasa cam nak mampos menunggu hari berlalu. But at least i still have my audit to look after. Other than that.. Just browsing anything and read whatever things on the net that may give me extra knowledge.

At last 5.30 came and i know that the week is finally over. Can't wait for the weekends to come.

After work on Friday, as usual i will go back to Teluk Mas and pay ayah a visit. It has been 8 months now. Life has been tough without him around. But, slowly we'll sail through.

Malam minggu duduk kat rumah pun tak ada apa nak buat. So i decided to spend the night with Kimi and Jamsari, two of my closest friend in Melaka. Arrived at Kimi's house to pick him up at 9.00. Jam was also there, so we car pooled heading for Sampan. Nice place to hang out with friends. Open air bistro by the sea. Memang best. Angin pantai lagi. Fuuhhh.. layan. Ada pulak lagu-lagu 70s and 80s from Stevie Wonder, Carpenters and even Engelbert. Tambah layan.

Tah kenapa malam ni Kimi and Jam is a bit "different". Kimi especially. Lupa makan ubat agaknya diorang malam ni. Lepas lepak-lepak kat Sampan, rasa dah tak leh layan duduk, we decided to go somewhere else. Gi Pantai Merdeka. Saja nak layan pantai-pantai malam ni. =)

Dah dekat pukul 12, i sent Kimi home. Macam Cinderella la pulak. Tapi takpe ahad ni jumpa lagi. Nak gi support Kimi main badminton. Ada tournament. I'll update you guys all.

Apa Hal Ni..??

It was a boring and dull Tuesday. So was Monday. Last week punyalah happening. Yelah, last Monday i had BOSET with Jimz at Melawati. This week was just a plain day without any adventure. Langsung tak ada.

Pergi kerja pagi macam biasa. Semak documentations for ISO14001 conversion audit, go through documentations for licenses and some other pending issues. Pastu nak buat apa? Seriously talking, i am not the kind who can sit down with nothing to do. For those who really knew me, they know how passive days can kill me softly. And today, i really feel like someone is killing me. Nasib baiklah ada lagi document yang boleh disemak. Can still see some things lacking in Monitoring and Measurement List. Esok siaplah korang. Aku bagi NC sorang satu. Boleh..???

Petang lagilah tak ada benda. Mungkin dah sebab nak habiskan sisa-sisa hidup kat Cubic ni, diorang dah tak bagi handle project lagi kot. Giler bosan. Audit pun tak setel lagi. Ni lagi satu hal. Sepatutnya last week dah habis kot. Tapi kena tangguh sebab masing-masing ada hal. Nak buat camana. Dah namanya balaci. Kenalah ikut cakap orang.

B.O.S.E.T

This is my picture. Taken by Jimz. We reached CONSIST Training Centre very early that day. Memula ingatkan takut jalan jam. So geraklah awal. Tapi pemutusnya memang cepat dan terlalu awal. So we decided to walk around this training centre and took some pictures. Thanx to Jimz, I can have these pictures updated here.


This is after the end of day one. Rambut kusut masai. Penatnya badan memang tak tahan. Rasa macam nak terus tido je balik tu. Mana tak, we had to swim 4 laps with different strokes. Then we had to climb a ship wall. Pastu kena buat teknik menyelamatkan diri ketika hanyut di laut, and lastly, terjun from a platform into a 3m deep swimming pool complete with wave simulation. Boleh tahan jugak training kat sini ye. Agak-agak nak masuk fear factor tu datang lah sini dulu. Persediaan.

Nampak gaya cam penat kan, tapi sebelum balik rumah Azrul malam tu sempat lagi gi OU. Took Jimz to OU, lepak-lepak and waste time. After Maghrib, we went to eat at Mak Su Lorong (Jubek will know this). About 10 something we headed back to our hibernation place. A longer day tomorrow.

Second day of B.O.S.E.T.

Pagi ni kitorang gerak lambat sket. Kelas pun mula pukul 9.00. So we went makan first before we headed for class. Had a theory class for Helicopter Underwater Escape today. Petang ada praktikal kat pool.


As you can see at the above picture, we are ready to go for our practical training for Heli Underwater Escape. We had to sit in a simulation helicopter and the heli is then crashed onto the surface of the swimming pool. After the chopper has sunk into the pool and rotated 180 degrees, we had to escape from the helicopter.


Nampak tak..?? Heli dah terbalik 180 degrees. But tell you guys what.. I was the first one to be able to escape from the door. 2 persons before me failed to do so. Bangga jugak la. Tak ada apa pun sebenarnya. The most important thing to do is not to panic. Kalau panic memang tak tau nak buat camana.

Jimz also passed within one try.


Gambar keletihan setelah hari kedua. Pena ttau sebab nak kena berenang dalam overall yang memang berat. nasib baik tak ada life jacket. Tapi at first cuak jugak sebab swimming pool dia dalam dan tak ada life jacket. But everything is over.

Third day was not so bad. Fire fighting class and practicals. Went well and did not took any pictures at all. Battery kong. Aiyoh.. this is with my gadgets. Kuat melantak battery. Tapi ok lah kan. Yang ada ni pun cukup. I am too tired.

Before B.O.S.E.T

Hey there guys. Lama betul tak update my blog. I've been busy with a lot of things lately. But i have to juggle them all. I'm making 2 entries today but with different dates. Boleh..??

So Sunday i was in KL. Left Melaka with Jimz at noon. (For the time being, i can't really expose who this Jimz is but he knows who he is. Bahaya kalau ada orang tertentu membaca. Hehhe)

Reached Sunway 2.30 in the afternoon to meet my mates from my schooldays. Bukan apa, saja je nak lepak lepak dgn diorang. Dah lama tak jumpa. Lagi pun, nak jugak jumpa bakal angkasawan Malaysia yang pertama. Yeah, one of my classmates is chosen as the final 8 to be selected as Malaysian first astronout. Serious bangga. We ate at Hartz and after that was bowling time at the alley. Hahha. Bajet aku tak reti bowling ye. Tengok markah sket...



Ni lah antara member lama yang masih rapat lagi dalam kelas Nuruddin. Ummi, Kucheng, Mas, Hendree, Effa and Azrul(sitting). Ada gak yang tak dapat datang sebab urusan masing-masing dan ada jugak yang tak datang memang sebab hampeh. Hahaha..

That night i slept at Azrul's place. I am attending BOSET - Basic Offshore Safety and Emergency Training. Sent by LPP.

Basically this time i am going with my collegue who also works for LPP. Jimz. Mysterious Jimz. Well, we've heard a lot about this course. From jumping from a platform, walking in a dark room to helicopter escape. Macam-macam ni.. I'll make another post to update on B.O.S.E.T alone..

Teacher: What day is today?
Student: Today is Saturday..*ada lagu sket*

Yeah, today is Saturday. We planned to go to JB today. Wanted to see the conditions of our house in Bandar Baru Uda before we could sell it later. Yelah, nak kena jaga jugak. Takkan la main jual camtu je. The tenant told us that their plumber is charging them over 3K nak betulkan piping system kat rumah tu. WTF.?!#&%!! Apa la yang banyak sangat rosaknya tu.. That is why we wanted to go to see the house for ourselves.

Around 10 o'clock myself with angah, mama, pak ngah and pak teh started the journey to JB. We are meeting the tenant at 2.00 in the afternoon. Saja je gerak awal sket sebab leh jalan-jalan kat JB. We arrived at about 1230 in the afternoon. Still too early for the meeting and we decided to go to Danga Bay for lunch. Cantik woo tempat neh. Rugi lak tak bawak kamera. Kalau tak, leh tunjuk kat korang keindahan kampungku..Johor Bahru.

Johor Bahru.. apa lagi nak makan kat JB ni kalau bukan mee rebus dengan tahu bakar. My faveret lah beb. Tahu bakar kat JB ni laen sket. Tofu that looks like sponge *not spongebob* and as big as an A5 paper. Memang sedap. But it must come together with a good kuah la. You see, if the tofu is good but the kuah tastes bad, still it is bad la. Kena datang sekali. Other than that, otak-otak gelang patah has to be one of my faveret.

Ni lah nak cerita pasal penjual otak-otak kat Danga Bay.

BatuBata: Bang, mintak bungkus otak-otak ni ye. Buat 4 bungkus, satu bungkus 20 keping. Boleh?
Brader Blur: *melihat tanpa perasaan*
Mama: Ni otak-otak kempas dik eh?
Brader Blur: *masih melihat tanpa perasaan*

Bisu kot dia ni. So we just walk away from him. Ingat nak makan otak-otak. Dah tak ada rezeki kot agaknya. But, after about 10 minutes, he came to our table and sent me the thing. Eh..boleh dengar rupanya.

Brader Blur: 30 hengget dik
BatuBata: Lor.. boleh pun cakap *dalam hati*

Hangen ni satu badan. Nak berniaga ke nak berlakon ni? Ke undercover... Bila orang tanya tak nak jawab. Bengong..!!
